Hi I have been exercising for a year but need to lose more weight to see the results. I have been running, biking and some strength training. Do you fingd the Winsor Pilates good for toning? I did yoga years ago and found it great for stress etc. I have had elbow surgery for a broken bone about 3 years ago and wondered if this may hinder me in doing pilates. Right now I can do some yoga stuff again like plank. My arm has gotten stronger but it doesn't 100% extend - almost but not quite.

Sounds interesting?

Ps I should have mentioned that I am only on Day 4 on LC and messed up a bit with a slice of pizza today. Exercising tommorrow to hopefully counteract it.

I'm interested in getting a Pilates video or two. I already do a lot of other tapes---mostly FIRM or others w/ weights. Primarily I'm interested in improving my posture and the whole ab region. Any suggestions on where to start??? I've always loved any Kathy Smith tape I've gotten, so should I stick with her or is there something better?

Thanks!

Aren't kids sweet? I'd love to try Pilates, but the kids are ALWAYS there! They're all boys so I know it will be very stressful. I'm curious, I have arthritic knees and I need something will less impact on the legs than most exercising. I understand Pilates is a lot of stretching, is there a lot of standing leg movement like running or walking?
Thanks!

I plan on doing every other day with THE FIRM and then a pilates dvd. Does that sound like a good mix? My FIRM setup should be here soon (I used to do it and then gave away my DVDs and fannylifter when we moved). I am going to Target today to look at the Pilates dvds and will do that 5 x a week until my FIRM gets here. Need to try to do something to get me past the 130's....

How are these exercises on the knees? I have osteoarthritis and I can't do certain excercises. It's a drag because I love Tae Bo. I need to strengthen my thigh and calf muscles so I don't use my knees to walk. Will this work for me?
Thanks!
