Unhappy Eewww!! Was That Really Me?

OK - I have only been on induction since 2/26/08 and only lost 30 lbs (I guess thats ok) - but I needed to tell somebody this - my sister just sent me a picture of both of us from last April on my cell phone (I hate the cyberworld and am a CELLUAR REBEL) and EEWWWW!!!! I can't believe that I looked the way I did - like some kinda Sumau woman wrestler!! (with 2 or is it 3 ? chins). GEEZE - I know I only lost 30 lbs - but my god - I look terrible!! (I know I don't look like a wrestler now - maybe a boxer). How could I have let myself go like that? I'm so thankful for this site - it truly has kept me motoring along. Enough of my blabbering - "and thats all I have to say about thayt." (Forrest Gump 1994)

When I get down to what I feel comfortable with in pictures I am going to go get me and daughters pictures taking together =) I am proud of what I have done thus far and will be even prouder when I can take a picture, look at and say WOW I do look good!! hehe

Seeing a picture of myself at a New Years Eve party made me diet. It took me until the end of June to get on Atkins but if I knew how awful I looked in my skirt and high heeled tall boots I would not have offered to walk around the whole room and pass out a drink to everyone at midnight. My husband took a picture of me and I cried. I might use that as my before picture if I can find it. I have to look better than that now. Pictures can be deceiving. I think I look okay in the mirror but a picture or a video tape will send me running away. I have no idea why. I must have circus mirrors at home because I don't look too bad there.

30 lbs is HUGE!! That's awesome.

I became a camera phone whore once I lost weight...all of a sudden I loved pics of me.

I know what you mean about you can't believe that was you. Check out my gallery to see the difference on me.

Same here, I lost 30 also and I look and FEEL completely different.
I still have more to go but as for right now I am considered curvy instead of fat. I can deal with that!
Congrats on your loss so far! I wish you continued success!

30 is HUGE!

If you had 30 of something else, say cats, that would be a lot!

30 winter parkas is a lot
30 red bath towels is a lot

30 pounds is a lot!

Congratulations!
