Default 1-2-3 Cheese Cake

Here's a quick recipe for cheese cake lovers. It's simple and you're going to love it!

CHEESE CAKE
3 eggs (room temperature)
1 c splenda
2 8oz cream cheese (soften)
1 TBS lemon juice (1 tsp vanilla extract can be substituted)

Beat cream cheese & splenda until smooth.
Add one egg at a time and beat.
stir in lemon juice or vanilla extract

Line 9" pie pan with parchment paper.
Pour in cream cheese filling.
Bake 350 for 35 - 45 min.

Refirgerate for 3 hours


TOPPING
Strawberry Preserves (SF)
Whipping Cream

Spread cheese cake with 1 TBS strawberry preserves.
Add whipping cream when ready to serve.

CARBS

cream cheese - 16g
splenda - 24g
lemon juice - 2
strawberry prsv - 5g

approx 5.9 carbs per 1/8 slice.

mmmm, how would I make this chocolatey with powdered cocoa? three tbsp? extra sweetener?

Default Chocolately

I'm going to try this with unsweetened bakers chocolate (8 carbs). I'm sure I read somewhere that you can melt it and blend it into the cream cheese to get that marble effect. The cake is really yummy though - you can hardly tell it's low carb! I prefer lemon juice for flavor because I don't like that 'sweet' taste.
