Question TotalTrainer/TotalGym

Are there any users of the TotalTrainer/TotalGym. I have the TotalTrainer and I am pleased with the exercise I get from it. I understand it has become a favorite of physical therapists because of it range of motion. I also understand it is being adapted for use in Pilates exercizes. I know that it has its limitations if you are looking to build buldging muscles, but that is not my goal. I am wondering if anyone has figures on the amount of calories burned on this machine.

I also used to have a Nordic Track and I believe it is still rated as one of the best low impact aerobic exercizers on the market. Treadmills are totally boring for me, but I wonder if anyone has experienced with elliptical trainers as opposed to ski machines, and if you know any pros and cons. Without any experience with ellipticals my first impression is that they would be higher impact on the knees than the ski machine. I am 58 so I want to avoid excess stress on my knees.
