Default sugar cravings

If you have Atkins' book you may want to examine what it recommends for "sugar cravings". Off the top of my head I remember a natural supplement called L-Glutamine as being mentioned. The carb cravings have something to do with unstable blood-sugar levels. (Also, you may want to visit www.atkins.com and use their search engine).

Plan: low-carb Ali style

My solution:
Make yourself a LC chocolate or strawberry cheesecake (it's in the recipe section) and indulge yourself. Eat as much as you like until that sugar craving subsides. I promise it works. I even put a layer of thick cream on the top..now that's serious indulgence but better than TOM cravings and eating sugar.

Also, have you tried the LC Rolos ? I wouldn't really recommend them cos I think they bring on more cravings but sometimes you just have to have chocolate !! Also the Lindt 85% dark chocolate is low(ish) in carbs...if you like dark chocolate..that may help !!

Good luck
Ali

p.s. I actually find that if I stick strictly to lc'ing...I don't get TOM cravings, spots or the PMT madness !!...well maybe a little bit...

Thanks so much for your advice. The cravings have stopped and I'm back on track - but I'll keep your tips in mind if it happens again
