Yesterday's dinner was a salad of red leaf lettuce, scallion, small chopped carrot, homemade ranch dressing, and roasted (in my countertop Ronco rotisserie!) beef tri tip. Mmmm

Shrimp and chicken skewers at a friend's bbq
Salad with ranch
These spiked shelters that are popular now (a grapefruit one, and an orange one

On the road- insides of chicken cheese steak with provolone, grilled onions and peppers

at a restaurant for a going away party:
A little of the veg and hummus app the table ordered
Steamed clams
Balsamic side salad
Chardonnay

A cauli topped "shepherd's pie" made with ground turkey (a surprise from my husband!)

Last night we had crab cakes and lemon/garlic/old bay shrimp
Side was a cold Soycattash (trader Joe's spin on sucotash but subs edamame for the limas, bringing carbs down to 5 net per half cup). I marinated it in lime juice, crushed red pepper, garlic and salt. Loved it.
