Default Holy smokes...Coconut Butter tastes awesome!

I'm making the mac nut bread from the movie "The Magic Pill" and licked the spoon after putting in the coconut butter.

Wow! That tastes great!

I guess I expected just a neutral taste or something.

Buy the Grace "Pure Creamed Coconut" in the Asian aisle instead of the Coconut Butter in the health food aisle. Same stuff but a lot cheaper.

And yes it's awesome.

Don't you mean Hershey's Cocoa butter?
It used to be found in drug stores in bars used for skin like baby oil for tanning before the sunscreen mania started

I agree a good brand of coconut butter is delicious to eat right out of the jar
It can separate if it gets too warm though.

The Grace Creamed Coconut I buy is usually separated in the package, so what I do is put it in warm water so that it liquifies, then I shake it up in the package so that it recombines, and then I quickly put it in the refrigerator or freezer to use later. It will say combined that way.

As I remember it, the white chocolates, the GOOD ones , have coco butter.

I know it can be bought on line for making homemade cosemetics and soaps-- not likely to be eating grade. Might need a different soource for eating grade.
