Default fucus vesiculosis?

Does anyone know if this is an effective thermogenic agent? Does it work for anyone? Is it harmful in anyway?

I saw an ad for a patch and it caught my interest.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Deb

Smile Kelp?

I'm Hypothyroid I take 450 mcg of Kelp daily ( also known as Bladderwrack or Fucus Vesiculosis). If you have under active thyroid I highly recommend giving it a shot. It's also supposedly great for your skin.

Deb, I can't give you a personal opinion as I've never tried this product, but I can point you in the direction of an unbiased review: Supplementwatch.com on Fucus vesiculosus.

Regarding those patches in particular, the FDA has investigated these claims in the US and found them to be unsupported. Caveat emptor, I guess

If you're looking for a supplement that has been proven to raise metabolism and cause a thermogenic effect in humans try Green Tea (and extract) - it's also a powerful anti-oxidant, anti-carcinogenic and anti-fungal.

Cheers,
Nat
