Have you tried taking magnesium instead of trying to get more fiber? If not, start taking it at night... 750mg. If you're still constipated the next day, try more the next night.. just up it
slowly.

Also, if your calorie allotment lets you, if you count, try upping
fat instead.

Last resort, psyllium husks.. whole flake ones. Metimucil is made of them but they grind them up super fine. Whole flakes will give you ten grams of fiber for two tablepoons. Mix in water and drink the sludge. It will help, if fiber is what you want/need, but the consistency is like drinking watery vapid oatmeal. I got used to it when I was drinking it, but now my body has regulated with the fat in keto AND magnesium.

I take 750mg at bedtime.

Good luck and don't let your traitor body win!

Read "Fiber Menace" then take milk of mag or mag sulfate (Epsom Salt) they work. For me fiber makes things worse, but YMMV

"no salt restriction" is likely to hurt, fasting and losing got me off 3 BP meds in about two months.

HWCream is available everywhere, but pure -- that's another story.

Yeah, and I love true refried beans, they do help on occasion to get things moving It's the lard as well as the fiber I think.
