Any pregnant low carbers out there? I am currently in my 5th week and with my doctor's okay am maintaining a low crb diet to restirct excess weight gain. This is my second child. With my first one I gained 33 lbs, 25 of which I still have on. Hoping to gain only 20 lbs this time around.

Only problem I'm having currently is a lack of appetite.

If there are any ladies out there that would like to buddy up through out the preganncy and discuss eating, experiences, etc. I look ofrward to hearing from you.

It's good to hear that your doc okayed the LC diet during pregnancy. I always wondered about that...I'm working on losing my pregnancy weight right now, but I'm anticipating getting pregnant again right around the time I get to my goal weight.
