bb popcorn = Brown baggy popcorn

Cross-posted from a smart balance thread, but I thought more people might find this helpful.

A great home-made microwave popcorn tip:

1 brown paper lunch bag
2 staples + staple gun (I use tape) Chari
1/3 cup popcorn

Pur the popcorn in the bag and make a one-inch fold at the top, then fold again. Make a staple at one end of the top, and the second on the other, making sure that they are at least 2-3 inches apart. Push the popcorn button as per usual, or approx. 2 and a half minutes on high, though microwaves vary. This is much cheaper than buying microwave popcorn, and is much less of a hassle than stovetop.

Caution: the staples must be 2-3 inches apart, that's what stops it hurting your oven; it must be on a rotating plate... no, setting it on a plate to pop doesn't count; and lastly, the metal must not touch the walls of the microwave, again to prevent damage.

I know this is quite a lengthy explanation, but I use it so often and it's so easy, I thought I'd pass it on. I got this out of an Alton Brown cookbook.

Q. , just a thought, maybe you are eating to much bread?
Could be the cause of weight stall?
Just looking out for your well being, on the other hand I don't eat any bread and I am not losing either...hmmm.

Happy Birthday Julia, this would be a good time to make some things ahead and freeze them so you always have a green light meal. Then when you start on Monday you will be ready.
Have fun on your Birthday!
