do you not like any at all? Is there no vegetable you will eat?

I don't know if you're doomed to fail, but I don't know how healthy that is overall.

I love salads, I just carefully select an acceptable dressing, and measure...that helps me love them more.

I don't like veggies either, but have found that broccoli and cauliflower are both good with cheese sauce. I also find that a salad can be pretty tasty if you doctor it up with meat, cheese, and a good dressing. I do supplement pretty heavily, though, to try to make up for lack of veggies. I wouldn't go so far as to say you are doomed to fail.

I am one that came to this diet only eating green beans, corn, and potatoes. Broccoli if it was covered in some kind of chinese sauce.

Now I am eager to try different veggetables made in different ways. I am still scared to make them, Im strange like that...if its something new I have to build up to try and make it...but I am always wanting to try different ones.

Now I have at least quadrupled my list of veggies that I will eat!

My suggestion is to really think about what kinds of veggetables you like, some you didnt really think of because we use them more of a spice than anything (bell peppers, jalapenos).

Think of new ways to prepare the ones that you do like, and the ones that you dont like. Look for recipes or try to mask them in things. I dont particularly like radishes but I have tried them in a few different recipes. One way I can eat them is to cut them kinda small and place them in my salad, the dressing masks the flavor but they make a nice little crunch in my salad which I like and I know that I am eating healthier just by adding an extra vegetable.

One recipe that I absolutly LOVE (and was intimidated to make at first, and quite frankly it sounded strange) is this one.... Parmasean Vegetables. It says broccoli, but acctually I go to Krogers and pick up their carrabean blend frozen veggies and make it with those instead. Its a blend of nice veggies and they are SO delish made like that recipe. Ive never added the green onions though like it says, I didnt have any the first time that I made it and it was so delishious that I have just kept them out the entire time. Oh and I never add the nuts either, lol.

Good Luck!

I think you will be surprised at how your tastes change once you don't eat sugar and should continue to try veggies that you haven't liked in the past. Before starting Atkins, I liked carrots, green beans, cabbage and lettuce-THAT'S IT! I now love broccoli, spinach, all squash, brussel sprouts, and the list goes on....

Yum!

Luckily I've always like veggies, especially a big garden/garbage salad is the best!

Try eating very fresh, local veggies. I couldn't stomach sald for awhile, but now that we get good greens picked very fresh, the taste is out of this world. Also, check out the no-carb folks - there are people who think eating no veggies is perfectly OK and even optimal. The more I learn about veggies, the less I think of them, in fact. I eat only 10 carbs a day which means minimal veggies. I feel much better than when I was doing more veggies and slightly higher carbs. I would also make the suggestion to always eat veggies with fat; it makes them more digestible.

You can have as many eggs as you like. I sometimes eat as many as 18 in one day.

LOL You guys crack me up! I was worried that 3 eggs a day would be too much.

I'm a veggie eater, always have been.

You could always make a vegetable smoothie with them. Drink them instead of eat them.

Off to make some egg salad. Yum!

I cant imagine 18 eggs in a day WOW.

Find something you like. For example, I pretty much like my veggies either in a soup, sauteed with garlic and olive oil, or baked in a cheesey casserole kind of thing. Other than that, I could care less about them. I dont like them grilled or plainly steamed or anything. So I eat them one of those ways every day. If youi like cheese, try making them smothered in cheese. If you like butter, sautee with a lot of butter.
