Hey Hab,

I'm starting fresh today. With the parties/football the past two days, I knew I would not be legal. I'm going to be checking your stats. You are my race. You've just gotten a leach on board without asking.

I signed up for another bicycle ride yesterday. I enjoy cycling. So I've got a ride at the end of March in Lousiana, Cycle Zydeco and another in June, TRIRI (Indiana). So I've got a lot of blubber to rid and cardio ability to build.

May this day be legal for us both. I have to do one day at a time.

Cheers,
Mack

Thumbs up

Hello

I have been here before and whilst I have managed to return weighing less than when I started first time, I am determined to keep going this time till I reach a place where my size doesn't matter anymore. Good luck to you and wish the same to me.

Zac

In the same boat here! I joined in May 2003, but i didn't stick to the plan. Lots of excuses, but they don't matter, all that matters is what I do from here on in :-).

2005 is going to be a good year, I am happy, healthy and will soon be thinner!

It is so nice to have you aboard. By the way, there truly isn't anything disgusting about being fat. It is only a state of being and I view it as a challenge to work beyond. Be kind to yourself and your body and the weight will come off faster!

Thumbs up Still Here..Just So Little Spare Time

I am still hanging in and have only had one bad instance when I had temptation..and I cured it by walking over to a grocery close by my office and picking up some celery and cheese spread to keep around for snacks. Today is finishing the first week and am down 11 pounds...wearing a belt I got for Christmas that was too small and my pants are slipping a bit

I am varying my diet and even made ricotta pancakes once morning...had flaxseed cereal another morning. Discovered Macadamia nut butter on wasa crisp as a snack....

Thanks Mack for keeping me in your thoughts...I think of you daily and wonder how you are doing..at 57 I think this may be my last chance if I can't succeed so it is very important to me.

Peace.
Dennis (my honest to goodness name)

Default Heeeellllloooo Dennis

Hey Dennis,

I'm really glad to see your posting. I thought you might have bailed. Good to read that your are doing well. Congrats on the pounds lost. Regarding your statement of

"at 57 I think this may be my last chance if I can't succeed so it is very important to me."

Well, I agree with that also for myself. So let's turn our biggy wiggies into tiny hineys. Or, should that be guts vice butts.

For some reason, I feel very very strong in achieving a huge weight loss and maintaining a life style to keep it off.

Again, it is great to hear from ya.
Have a great day and I'll be keeping in touch.
Mack
