CRICKET - it is fun reading your KLAQ. I finally realized you were trying to say a CREMATED burger ala Chef Carl!!! I'm so glad you are hanging in there, but sorry about the med allergy! A 5 lb challenge is a great idea I must say. I hope I am not left in the dust! You have a nice night and hope you don't have too much swelling and pain.

This game is one week..chose your own loss. OPEN TO ANYONE THAT FOLLOWS DANDR..1972 or 1992

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!.....NASA (and US!)

WE DO NOT FAIL BECAUSE WE KEEP TRYING!

We have learned and keep learning how our bodies adjust to the ever changing dynamics of life. We follow the Philosophies set forth by DR ATKINS in DANDR..1972 or 1992 versions.

It does not get easier as we get to goal and we accept that we will keep trying and not give in to old habits. We move forward, even if we take steps backward, we strive for success. Positive attitudes and a sense of humor is a big help.

Sorry, I'm so late. We went to my parent's for supper after I got off work. My son lives in the same development and my grandchildren had supper with us and then I took them home and spend some time with them at their house. So, I didn't get home until almost 9P. Had a ton of clothes to wash so I thought I better get some work done before I sat done to post. Once I it down, I lose my momentum.

So nice to hear from you, CRICKET. Sorry to hear that you had a reaction to the pain meds. Hopefully, they get you something that works that doesn't negatively affect you! Chrissie updated us on the fluid issues and hope that leaves you as quickly as it came. Also, glad that Carl is keeping you fed with all the right foods! Enjoy those veggies!

CHRISSIE: Great job on the whoosh! Also, I can totally relate to how you've been feeling since you got back. When I stray a little when on vacation, my intent is to get right back on plan and induction the day we are traveling back. However, it seems to take a few days to totally get back on it. Just when I would think I have the carb cravings beat, I would cave. I would go all day with my meals and eat on plan and then eat something totally ridiculous at night. I then tried to commit to not eating anything after my supper meal, which seems to work for me. Your on your way and will do fine. We're all cheering you on!

PAULETTE: I can relate to the cool temperatures as it also feels like fall here. It's still in the (low) seventies through the days, but the nights have been in the high 40's/low 50's. Pretty chilly, but I guess we are saving electric on the fans and air conditioners! Sorry for the little blip up! Maybe the new 5 lb game will change things up for us!

HIMI: Don't worry about your gain the last couple of days. You are still down for the week and have had losses every week, which is great!

KATHY: You are doing great staying in range, especially with your work schedule and Chris' absences. When my husband worked away for long periods of time, I did horrible with my eating. Part of it was boredom and part of it was being depressed that he was away. It seems like you have things under control...but I'm sure it's an every day effort!

Shout out to JODI! Hope you are doing well.
