Question MYPLAN entries :help:

OK..I have been trying for 2 days to enter the info for splenda for my daily food itake on MYPLAN. I only used 1/2 of a pack..but i cant find it ANYWHERE...i have searched and searched...even looked up sucralose. How can i enter that info? Also, if the option isnt available for serving size, what do you do? Sometimes i am not quite sure how many Oz. i ate. I just know it was apprx. 1/2 cup etc. but all it says is 100grms., and oz. I tried putting in for ex. choosing 1 cup serving size option, but marking .5 on servings. It did not work. What do you do when the servings arent jiving with the amount you eat?

First of all, Splenda is not in the database, so you will need to enter it as a Custom food. I would enter it as 1 packet having 1 gram of carbs, and 4 calories.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by your second question. Have you tried clicking on the drop down menu beside the "100g" etc? Because many items do have cups as an option. Which food is it in particular you are having trouble with?

Ok ty, i will try to use the custon feature. yes i use the drop down feature..What i find i am having trouble with though is the options i need are not there. Example: Cauliflower boiled : i ate just 1/2 cup..but that isnt an option. Not sure how many grams it is. And i cant put .5 in . How would you put 1/2 cup in? Just put 1 cup and make a mental note to subtract the additional carbs from daily intake? Thanks!

You can put 0.5 of anything there. With the cauliflower, you can make 1 cup the amount, and put 0.5 at the left, and then click "Update servings."

It does take a while to get used to. Do come back and ask if you have any more problems.
