I have been trying to upload some photos for the past 90 minutes. No matter what I try I get an error message that says file is too large. I have re sized the photos with no luck searched the web for answers.

I do not have this problem with craigslist, ebay, or any other forum I us. Can anyone help? thanks.

Find a free photo hosting site, like Photobucket.

How are you resizing? If you are dragging the corners in, you're not really resizing, just zooming. You may need to open it in a program and reduce the pixels.
Go to YouTube and search. I've learned all kinds of stuff that way.

If you wish to link a photo from the net, then you simply use [*img]insert your pic here[*/img] but without the asterisks.
