Default What are your plans when you reach your goal weight?

I thought this question would lift everyone's sprits. One thing I plan to do is to spend money on a whole new wardrobe. Tight shirts, skirts (I haven't worn a skirt since third grade), tight jeans, and thongs. It'll be nice to put on a thong and not have it get lost if you know what I mean. LOL

Plus since I love working out now, I hope to start teaching areobic classes and help others reach their fitness goals.

When I reach my goal, I want to enter a bodyshaping contest. In the mean time, I will re-qualify as a personal trainer and offer a low carb alternative to the dietry advice typically handed out at gyms I have been a member of.

I admire your goals...especially the dietary advice. I am so sick of hearing standard advice given by personal trainers that just spew what they have read in magazines. Reality is every body is different and standard dietary advice does not work for every individual. I am not saying LC is for everyone, but people should know about true LC. Thanks for trying to change this.

I've reached my goal weight...this WOE is well integrated in my WOL that it is no longer a diet that I go on or off of...I just eat LC period, there is no such idea or desire to "going off-plan" for a holiday or event. My goal now is to live a life free of diet and start living!

Personal goal- Unplan my very planned world. Don't say no to last minute invites that I am clearly free for. I've missed out on too many fund and life changing opportunities.

Career goals- Never stop learning-take every certification exam possible and seek every opportunity for promotion available to me.

Health goals- Feel my feeling-- Conquer emotional eating once and for all. Incorporate exercises that aren't punishing to the body or mind.
"Treat" myself to some pampering once a month...mani, pedi, messages, spa treatments.

i haven't been skinny since i was about 8, so i have no idea what body shape i'll have *although, to look at my mom, i'm afraid i won't have any boobs left *
anybody ever seen that show "what not to wear"? i think i could deal with $5000 and some professional advice!

Now that I've just reached my goal I hope to maintain it, especially when I'm done BFing. Of course I can't get too many new clothes, which I'd love to do!, because I know my chest is going to shrink.

When I get to goal? I dunno. Maintain, I suppose.

Eat toast once a week?
Get some new clothes?
Wear my old ones (pre-kids) more often?

I don't think my life will change radically from what it is now - the big difference will be that I smile more when I look in the mirror.

Things that have changed already?
- pulse better
- no knee pains at all going upstairs (last year I was beginning to get pain)
-feeling more attractive
- feeling less self-concious in my bathing suit

Well I'm a tattoo artist, so I've got plenty of those.. Aside from getting some skin-removal (I know I'll need it as I can see it already) I'm going to buy a whole new wardrobe.. There are things I've been itching to wear for a long time that just don't look good on fat people *grin*.. I have a bit of a coat fixation. It's going to be hard to toss them out when I lose another 70 lbs but I tell you, it's a lot harder to be fat!..

Well, I am going shopping; its my second JOB. i AM ALSO GOING TO A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER; Go with My sistas every year to the peachtree road race. I want to try maritial arts(did it as a kid) also maybe become a fitness trainer/dietician

I am not at goal yet, but I live like I am. I don't know how long it will take me to get there, so I don't want to wait!! I shop, especially at second hand stores a LOT. I LOVE NEW CLOTHES, and this is a really inexpensive way to update your wardrobe a lot. I already got the lower back tattoo, the belly button pierced, and love to walk around naked in front of my husband, even with the extra skin. I still look way better to ME in the mirror than I did when I started. I am living for today, not waiting until I hit goal. The small rewards are sometimes better than the huge one at the end (when it seems to take forever to get there)
