Welcome to Teachergal & Melinda
Nawchem, that's a lot of pressure on us.LOL
If one of us can do it to keep you motivated.... will you honestly be up for a 90 day challenge this time next week.
We will keep you to that promise...
Or maybe Susan and I will keep you motivated by challenging you to try "keto" for a week...
Ladybug, thank you for sharing your successes and your journey with us, it is a privilege to be included in your "close friends" because it is where you feel safe that your close friends are found and you found it safe here to tell us.
I too do not win challenges, I lost my first ~20 and then bounced this entire month, only finally moving on the scale a gain when I changed things up completely, got entirely honest with everything I was putting in my mouth and took a serious look for hidden sugars and stopped saying to myself.... I am on a plane and I need to eat dark chocolate and nuts, which really means, snack. So I stopped snacking and took Susan's lead, I used fitday's free site and started to figure out exactly how many calories I was eating and got "real with myself".
Finding an eating style, finding out how your body changes it's needs as you lose weight and my favorite line I read the other day. Addiction (to anything, and for me it was food/carbs) is what we do instead of being creative. Wow...
And for my old friends and ones I have met on these challenges...Let's get this party started!
I am happy to say, that with my recent changes, I have finally gotten past the bouncing up past and back down to 168, the 170 at the start of March is finally firmly planted at 167.6 for two day now. I am a very happy girl!
