Last night on day five I snapped and had eight--count 'em--eight chocolate chip cookies. This morning's weigh in had me up a couple of pounds, but at least I'm still down three pounds total.

Well then, you just start over.

I try to look at the food and decide what is more important to me, the long term weight loss, or the instant gratification and weight gain. Just the thought of going out of ketosis is usually enough to deter me.

We all know how you felt before. The important question is, how did you feel after?

Slept great after my chocolate binge--probably because I was in a sugar coma. I'm still not sure why I did it. I couldn't have been hungry because I'd just had a largish steak with mushrooms and greens. Guess I really am addicted to sugar.

Today I'm back on track, right now having smoked salmon and a large bottle of water.

It's really hard to be addicted to sugar. Is there a way you can keep the goodies out of the house while you're working on getting over the cravings?

Way to go for getting right back on track!! That's the best thing you can do for yourself when you stumble -- pick yourself up and keep on going. (^_^)

Sugar + Oil = Disaster (especially for low carbers)

Fortunately, if you stop it right now, the sugar you eat might just form Glycogen+water only(depending on how much calories you consume).

It is very easy to remove Glycogen+water. Just stop eating carb for a few days.

I'm a sugar addict myself, I know it can be hard, but hang in there! I try not to keep any temptations around the house. I'm usually too lazy to go to a supermarket and buy chocolate and eventually the craving goes away.

Oh, yah! That is what I craved this morning! Everything I wanted was that combo! Crazy strong cravings, then I realized my last two meals had been pretty low fat(some slices of lean pork and horse relish), so I upped my fat intake at breakfast and the cravings went away. I wasn't trying to eat low fat meals, btw, it was just an accident of laziness- as the pork was leftovers.
