I do LOVE my vitamix, it makes the best yummy LC shakes!! and will grind almonds into almond flour so it gets used!!

Sexy, I saw a recipe for a Bloody Mary made with tomatoes, all the pulp, lemon, celery, spices, and vodka (all in a blender) it looked sooooooooo good. If we could just sneak in some bacon or porterhouse it'd be perfect :0)

I'm sorry but your not over the hump. You will have good days and bad days. You can have many, good days in a row and something will happen and give you what feels like the worst day in your life. Don't get cocky, something always happens, and if making the switch was that easy, no one would fall off the wagon.

congrats on day 3 - the first 14-28 days are the hardest, IMHO....keep it up! another couple weeks and your should be over the physical/physiological addiction.....

although, if you are like most of us here, you will always battle the emotional/psychological/social cues to make you eat carbs...

just know you're doing the right thing for your body, girl!

One day at a time. And I would avoid discussing specific diets with other people . I think it adds stress and input you really don't need. What works for me might not work for you.

Good luck!

I would call it a learning experiance. Most of us have been there, done that. I have found a journal helps, I write it all on paper and think about what caused the slip. My feelings, wether it was stress, anger, sadness, boredom, or outside help. Peer pressure, just being in a room full of the crap, you know what I mean.

Don't give up, I've been at this for 5 years now. I lost most of my weight, gain a lot back and slowly, over the years with a lot of hurdles and ruts from the wagon and getting things going. I feel so much better on LC and knowing that I'm healthier, and I'm sticking with this is the best thing in the world.

don't worry, I gave into peanut butter this week, but it didn't turn into several days off the WoE...I figure each good, natural, and LC meal is one meal closer to health & weightloss

remember, 'progress not perfection'

(now if I could only take my own advice!)
