Never heard of Dr Clark or his plan before, but am going to order the book from Amazon when I get home tonight... I am interested in a British-perspective diet, rather than trying to work out what some of these American thingys are all about!

Ordered the book last night... can't wait to get it. I only hope i got the right/best one... there seemed to be several (at least 3) versions of the book. I got the blue one, as someone had specifically mentioned the colour of the cover!

What's the carb count of a single slice of bread? I'm thinking I might prefer to have a Ryvita instead. The Ryvitas I have here at the mo are 8.5 grams of carb per slice... is that roughly similar to the carbs in a slice of bread?
