Default Cheat Night!!!

Well, I told myself and my wife that once I was down 20 lbs, I'd cheat for a night. Eat some crap and drink some beer. I held out to 25 lbs and had my feast last night. I won't say what I had so I don't trigger any cravings for anyone reading, but it was not on the induction list. It was good, but not really a big deal. I have no desire to cheat again, even when I hit the 40 lb mark. It just didn't do that much for me, which is great! I checked the Ketostick this morning and I got nothing. It'll be fun to see it come back to purple again. I was on the toilet a lot this morning, furthering my desire to not cheat anymore. I'm a proponent of planned cheats as long as you can handle it, I just don't really feel like doing it again. I hate how I feel, and it didn't really feel that good in the first place. I also hate the thought of being about 3-4 days behind now. Oh well, I'm glad this little experiment turned out well. Just some FYI

As most other experienced Atkin's Dieters will tell you, I have found steady success in a single-night diet cheat about every 2-3 weeks in the beginning stages, and then once per week in the later stages (after reaching 60-70% of goal). Usually I have a pizza night once per week, but make sure I go strictly by the book the next 2 days. I find it quite often will bounce 1-2 pounds off within 48-72 hours.
