I transformed my sleep with chelated magnesium, sleep mask, blue blocker sunglasses after sundown, and consistent bedtimes.
Now that my iPad has a built in red light function at sunset, I usually skip the blue blockers, and adding a weighted blanket has done wonders.
Insomnia is often an adrenal issue, as tess9132 has noted, and coming at it from that angle has been a great help.
