Default Low k is not ok

It sounds like a k deficiency to me as well Muscle and mental fatigue are key symptoms. My fav quick fix is a tall glass of LS V8 with half tsp of No Salt. This will provide a whopping 3,000mg of k and you should feel an improvement in energy levels the next day.

We've been talking about K in the Low Potassium anyone? thread. Also the salt thread is a good read.

For most of my life I avoided salt and fat. Now I'm LCHF and enjoying all these new taste sensations. Himalayan Pink is delish

I hear a lot of people saying they use sea salt and chelated mag. Where? Curious.

I put pink Himalayan salt on my food: it is really tasty.

Chelated mag I can only get from mail order sources. The plain kind you see everywhere is for irregularity

It has become one of my ALWAYS supplements.

Just remember that not all sea salt has the Iodine that table salt does.

People require trace amounts of iodine for proper development and growth. Most of the body’s iodine stores are in the thyroid gland, which requires the mineral for synthesis of the hormones it secretes. An iodine deficiency leads to an enlarged thyroid gland, slowed metabolism, and weight gain, as well as other symptoms of hypothyroidism such as fatigue and intolerance of cold.

I agree Pam about some other salts having no Iodine. My mother always said to be careful using salt with no iodine.

Hi Lynn! Not sure if your age...but I would be very interested in checking my thyroid levels if I were you. I know everyone wants to be a dr. But this was my issue when I was hypothyroid. Our body size is very similar ( weight and goals!) I noticed too, good luck with everything!

Default Dr. No

I never wanted to be a doctor Quite happily retired flight attendant
But I think we all need to be co-creators of good health.

Hi Dandelion what do you think about synthetic v. armour? I'm currently taking levothyroxine but seems like I had more energy on the natural source.
