HELP with adding picture

I need help adding a picture to my profile, I took a pic this weekend and went to update profile and it says it added it, but when I posted and looked, it wasnt there??? what am I doing wrong?

I finally got it posted to my avitar, had to reduce it many many many much!! hehe
I tried to put it in my signature cuz you can put a bigger picture there, but I cant figure that one out.
