Lessara,
Your question makes me think about the mindsets that I've taken on regarding weightloss, Namely that this effort needs to be validated by results on the dang scales! And fast! I know that's not true. At least not with me now. I'd like to see the scale move backwards a little each week, (each month) if there's no movement, I feel like it's slow.
Lessara, I've only lost 3 lbs so far in induction (12 days), so I guess that qualifies as slow. I'd like to lose 50 lbs by next year, but if I only get halfway there, I'll be ecstatic. I feel so much better in so many ways already, that any weight loss at all is a gain! (That's a joke, ma'am!)

Lessara, I've only lost 3 # since tha first of sept. Guess I've found my place in the turtle club. Thanks,Nat, by the way ---I didn't know this was here!! I hang in there for the health benefits, in the meantime--never felt better !
I started the diet and didnt' lose my induction weight for 13 days or so....and then I lost 7 pounds out of the blue!! I was so excited that all I wore were midriff shirts until it got too cold. Then over the next month I lost a grand total one 1 pound!! I have been there since. However...I had not given up caffeine yet or aspartame...and I was known to take little cheats. After two months I stopped counting carbs and went on instinct...lol. I didn't gain any weight back really...but I didn't lose either. So, this reply actually should be the starter of a new supprt group..."those who tend to cheat"...
