Default Cauliflour soup

Just made my first batch of this soup. Was dreading it as I hate Cf. But it was actually really good. I sauteed a few onion slices and mushrooms first. Then i added some chicken stock. then half a cf head. It made a very condensed soup, and i only needed a small bowl to feel full. a bit of salt and pepper and cheddar to garnish.
Am glad i experiemneted with it again...

I love cauliflower soup. I love it even more with bacon in it.

Even nicer with a dollop of cream, too.

Thanks for the idea, I have not made that in a while! I have to dig up my old recipe but that is a perfect idea for a cold night like tonight!

Have you done a puree with cheddar and bacon with just a touch of horseradish? Great!

Not a fan of horseradish myself so I don't usally cook with it but "bacon and cheddar make everything better"!
