Hi there!

I've been told (and so am following CALP) that CALP is more strict abut the RM because many people actually gained weight on CAD. Basically you have to start your RM with a big salad (with anything in it) and folow it with a meal divided 1/3 vegs, 1/3 protein, 1/3 carb. With CALP snacking is allowed.

That's about all. Hope it helps.

Bye Liv

In CAD, they say that the RM should be a "balanced feast" and unfortunately people chose that to mean a one hour pig-out and that's why they could gain weight. I eat a balanced dinner with my husband, and am able to lose on CAD without the salad.

Check both books out from the library and read them to decide which plan is right for you!
