Default Almond and Peanut Butter Recall

I am not sure if/how this effects our non-US brethren, but I just saw this recall on another message board from the US FDA website:
nSPIRED Natural Foods, Inc. Voluntarily Recalls Certain Retail Lots Of Arrowhead Mills® Peanut Butters, Maranatha® Almond Butters And Peanut Butters And Specific Private Label Nut Butters Because Of Possible Health Risk

Apparently, a company that manufactures peanut and almond butters does so under several different names, and is having a recall because of issues with salmonella.
Maranatha, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Kroger brands all fall under the recall.

I checked mine, and thankfully my jars aren't part of the recall, but thought you should know.

Moderators: Please forgive me if I have chosen the wrong forum in which to post this information.

Thanks for posting, Sereen. I'm happy to say the PB I purchased at TJ's last week was NOT on the list.

SIX JARS. YES, 6!!! (we all love it)... can't get through on the hotline...no surprise. prob just make a trip to TJ's

You know what's interesting, we just returned an unopened jar from TJ's because it was leaking (the lid was installed askew and it was leaking oil all over the grocery bag and back of my car when we got home!)

BOOO! This sucks.

Jam

JUST had some for breakfast THIS MORNING (and pretty much I eat it every day)!

Amazingly, I just received an automated call from Kroger (from telephone number 1-800-937-7008) advising me of this recall.
That is pretty good customer service, imho!
