Yes, not sure I could do HIIT barefoot. I started out jogging at a slow pace....about 4-4.5 mph and then by the end was jogging at 5 mph. Which actually felt pretty comfortable.

The soreness in the balls of my feet went away fairly quickly. My calves are still a little sore today but not to bad really. They were pretty sore last night........to the point that every time I got up off of the sofa, I was walkin funny.
I figured that was just because my form/footing was different.

Will jog again today and see how it goes.

Thanks for your advice, Nginear. I appreciate it.

Glad to hear things are working well. My calves were quite sore the first several times, too. I was shuffling about those first couple of weeks. Nowadays I can go much further distances without problems. Last night I jogged 1.5 miles, no soreness whatsoever today. Good luck, and stick with it!
