Default Yikes!

Was at a friends house last night and decided it would be a good idea to drink some rum and diet coke. Let's just say I haven't thrown up from drinking too much since I was in college (12 years ago). My hair looks GREAT this morning And my favorite sweater needs to be destroyed.

Ooooo. So sorry to hear about your bad experience! Hope you're feeling better. I remember barfing the first night I indulged in martinis while I was LCing hard core. Only later did I realize that not having starches in my belly to soak up the alcohol would wreak havoc. Ah, well, live and learn, right?
Feel better!

I felt like a jerk the next day. But my husband and friends have all done Atkins before and remembered that this could happen, unfortunately too late! Sticking to a Miller Lt. or glass of red wine only in the future!

I feel for you, but it's hard not to chuckle just a wee bit. Hope you're better today.

Same thing happened to me. I barfed and barfed until I swore I would faint. I stick to one drink or maybe a beer now. No more large quanty indulgence for me!!

Yes, it was kind of funny as well. I felt ok the next day, probably because I "got it all out" the night before. I think the problem was that I was not making the drinks myself, I go really light on the liqour and heavy on the soda. But, I think my friend thought he was being "generous". A glass of wine is kind of sounding good, so I must be cured!

Oh- and I did recover the sweater, I had to wash it twice, the second time on "power wash".

Ha! It's weird how your tolerance can change so much over so little time.

haha sucks but these moments are the kind you laugh at later!! I remember several years ago when I was on a low cal diet for a wedding, we had a party and after a few drinks I threw it all up too!! I think it wasn't so much that I had too much alcohol as it was that I hadn't really had sugar in months and my body just rejected it!!
