It was exactly two years ago today that I first joined one of these month-long daily weigh-in threads. I weighed 213 lbs that day. I had been low-carbing successfully for a while but had reached the point where my weight-loss was slowing dramatically and I was beginning to have to deal with some long plateaus. I was getting discouraged and the carb-indulgence season (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) was fast approaching so I knew I needed help.
I credit the friends I made and the support I received from these daily-weigh-in threads with helping me stick with my WOE thru those plateaus and eventually drop solidly into the 170's!
As you can see below, I've been in the low 170s for a solid year now and, while I'd really like to lose another 5 to 10 pounds eventually, my body may never cooperate with that goal.
But I learned from dropping out for a couple of months this past winter that I need you all for maintenance support too! So, I'm here for the long haul and I just really want to say thank you.
