I know this thread is a little old, but in the midwest Smuckers makes a good natural peanut butter. The ingredients are: Peanuts, Salt.

Just make sure you stir it up before you put it in the refrigerator.

Auston, I too am obsessed with Peanut Butter and I can't live without it either. I found an excellent way to satisfy my craving and not wreck my whole day..
Atkins Advantage Peanut Butter Granola Bars are so great! With 17g of protein and 3 net carbs it is a perfect snack. I live in MD so I am not sure about the stores near you, but I but them in Walmart, Target or Safeway.
Good Luck!!

Kelly, since you revived a really, really old (but worthwhile) PB thread, I wanted to share my PB obsession with you as well and recommend a brand that I found in the regular grocery store (no need for specialty food) that is spectacular: Teddie (it even has a cute teddie bear on it). http://www.teddie.com/ The ingredient list is just what you want and nothing else.

You souldn't be sorry! Often old threads have VERY good things in them. It is thus good that they "bubble" back up for new people to read.

Exactly! I was excited you did that so I could share my PB "find" with you. I couldn't believe I found this truly all-natural, naturally LC stuff in the regular grocery store!!

Lisa, you say that the brand is Teddy's..I live in MD and I couldn't find Teddy's in my local grocery stores (Safeway, Giants, etc.) I'm just going to have to search the PB section in my grocery store and read every label!!

It's Teddie's with an "ie" and their web site has a listing of supermarkets that carry it. It IS possible that yours doesn't. www.teddie.com Check it out and good luck!

My favourite natural (just peanuts) peanut butter is Target's Market Basket house brand. Crunchy. I have some almost every day. I've never tasted Teddie's though....maybe I will this summer when I'm in Shaws Grocery territory.

Ooh, another great tip. Thanks, Kay. I had gotten a valencia natural PB in the store before...just your basic "peanuts, salt" list of ingredients that's so important to me. And it was ok. But there is something about the blend of the Teddie brand that I adore. I think you'll be pleased!
