Smile % of fat, carbs, and protein

Can someone tell me what the % of fat, carbs, and protein should be? I'm sure someone has talked about it... I just don't know were... I am not "doing" any plan, but my own... I just wanted to get an idea of the basics of the idea...
Thanks

Generally the percentages should be about 65-70% calories from fat, 3-5% calories from carbs and the rest from protein. Remember, too, that fat has more than twice the calories of carbs or protein when you figure out your ratios (1 gram fat=9 calories, 1 gram carb or protein=4 calories).

Also, the book Protein Power by Eades has some nice recommendations for what foods vegetarians can eat on a low carb diet.
