Default Diabetes & Taste Buds!

Something else I've noticed since going LC...

Food tastes better! I'm really enjoying my food much more than I have in years!

I had a stray thought wondering if my neuropathy was effecting my taste buds and found this article:

https://www.webmd.com/diabetes/news...e-buds-diabetes

I've had quite a dramatic drop in BG since going low carb and I think my neuropathy is already getting better. It could of course be a combination of many things. I am eating much less and taking more time and care in preparing the meals I do eat so that is one reason meals are tasting better. Also, I quit smoking almost 2 months ago and that also is reported to have a positive effect on the taste of food.
