Default Hello

Hi everyone, I’m normally am not one to post if forums or even Facebook for that matter. I’m a reader and not a poster I’ve decided to jump in here though and see how things go. My husband and I have just moved to a new area. Today we both had appointments with our new GP. It’s been several years since I’ve had a physical. So, my weight is out of control ( I knew this before today but did not want to face it). Now that I had to weigh in, there’s no avoiding the truth. The good news is I’ve decided to drop 40 pounds. I know low carb eating is the key for me. I’ve even read that being 58 is no excuse for not being able to lose. I look forward to following this forum! Gotta start somewhere, right?

Love your enthusiasm!! Lots of support here. Lots of welcoming folks.

Now that you have started this journey...just dont quit....Actually the LC way of eating will have you feeling better and you will prefer that. Just dont quit.....takes time to learn this way of eating, and I mean new info and habits for you AND your body needs to adjust.

Do you have a journal?? A great way to connect and make more friends.

Glad to have you here!!
