Default I'm new, what kind of exercise should I do?

Hi, I'm new, I am looking for some sort of workout/exercise I can do on a fairly regular basis, the only thing is I don't have access to a local gym or fitness center... I don't have a clue as to what kind of exercise to do.. please help! thank you!

I would say the one thing to add is some kind of weight bearing exersice. I'm a big fan of the Firm video series. You need to have a set of weights, for female you need about 3, 5, and 8 lbs sets to start, I actually started with 1 and 2's also, somethings were too hard with 3's at first, and depending on the tape a step box, short and tall. They have a kit where you can get a stackable step, and 3 tapes, if you go to qvc, they add in a 4th. Men need to start with 5, 8, and 10 lbs. It is very important to work on building muscle as this is a major factor in metabolism rates, as well as aerobics alone can cause you to lose muscle and you don't want that.
I'm sure others will give their input as to what they like. Truthfully we need to know more about you, if you have any limitations, and you should see a doctor before you start any program.

Thanks!
Also, sorry about not including this before, I have been to a doctor recently and they are encouraging me to get more exercise, so I don't really think I have any limitations.. thanks for caring!
