Default Talking Rain Sparkling Diet Ice - at Burnaby Costco

Just came home from the Burnaby Costco and bought there a case of Talking Rain Sparkling Diet Ice , sweetened with sucralose. 24 bottles x 16 oz for $17.99.

Per 8 oz serving, 3 calories, 1 carb (1 sugar). So, 2 carbs per bottle.

The case is mixed - 4 flavours: black raspberry, orange mango, pink grapefruit and harvest peach. No added sugars, no aspartame, no sodium. Each serving provides 50% of recommended daily intake of vitamins E and C.

Ingredients in black raspberry: carbonated spring water, natural flavors, marion berry juice concentrate, malic acid, sucralose, potassium benzoate to ensure freshness, ascorbic acid, and Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate.

Verdict on the black raspberry: very good, quite fruity!

Hey jeanyyy
I just picked up a case of these at our Costco in Victoria. I'm sampling the Black Raspberry right now. It's very good and fruity as you say.. and NOT sicky sweet! Very refreshing and a great alternative to diet drinks with aspartame. Yayyy!

Oh, for de-monopolization of the liquor industry here in Ontario I miss having a liquor store (or two!) on every street as in Alberta, and I guess B.C.

I was just in Costco here yesterday and would have loved to get Thin Ice or something- the LCBO is an extra trip and I'm lazy!

Thumbs up Talking Rain Diet Ice

Hello,

I also bought these and two thumbs up. (Cathy, these are non-alcoholic. I think you're thinking of something else.) These are a "slightly carbonated" fruit flavored water sweetened with Splenda.

Costco also carries another great Talking Rain product - sparkling water with "fruit essence". No sweeteners, no calories, no carbs!!! I also bought these and they are very good. Kind of like Perrier, but they come in more flavors.

TTFN,

Is there anywhere else you can buy this product in the Lower Mainland, with the exception of Costco? (I'm lazy too!)

Here's their feedback page..

Everybody who likes'em go tell'em how great these are so they'll keep on making them!

PS. I asked if they could make a Lime Margarita flavored one, hehe

Iwilldoit: I suggested a lime one, too! AND a chocolate cream soda-ish one.. lol The Customer Service rep said to fill out a suggestion card at Safeway asking for the product, so I'm gonna do that!

Ron: I'm curious about the sparkling water - what does it taste like? I know it's not sweet, but is it still good?

jeanyyy
Good idea about asking Safeways to bring those in! I should do likewise at my local store.

I did get some of the regular flavored carbonated water ones. Not sweet, but really quite refreshing actually. Very lightly flavored. In fact, I'm trying the lemon-lime one now. Ha! If they can do lemon-lime, that means they are halfway to a Lime Margarita flavored Diet Sparkling Ice!!!

I like the sparkling water. It is definately not sweet, maybe an aquired
taste. I don't drink it straight, I mix it in with my drinking water when I go on a hike or bike ride. I just talked to a manager at Costo and he said that it may only be around for a couple of months and that they might not be getting any more in after that which is too bad.
