Default Diabetisweet question

Hello Karen

I have a question about diabetisweet, I've heard so much about how good and better diabetisweet is for baking than splenda, since it takes on more sugar like properties I was wondering would you recommend that it be used in a low carb diet. Your opinion would be much appreciated .

Hi whispers80,

I wouldn't use it because it contains isomalt, a sugar alcohol. I react to sugar alcohols the same way I react to sugar and its not pretty. Stevia is my personal sweetener of choice.
