Amazon has finally got a listing for Karen's low carb cookbook, with a button to pre-order it. They're even selling it for 32% off! I think it would be really cool if she could hit a bestseller list on the first day it's available, from our pre-orders.

It is 320 pages long and is described as "The first sophisticated low-carb cookbook on the market...." The editorial review is very kind. Both sites indicate that pre-odering the book qualifies for free shipping in Canada for orders totalling $39 or more.

Good point, Doreen. In the US it's free shipping over $25. If you add on any object over $1.20 you're getting free shipping. Also, in some states, you won't pay tax, so you'll get it for even less than at your local bookstore.

Oh -- in case anyone is wondering, amazon doesn't charge you till they send the merchandise.

Woohoo! Another excuse to buy a good book! My bookstore budget is astronomical!
