Default Kimbee's Motivajournal: Fitness to Fulfillment

Since spraining my ankle April 9, I am struggling with finding the confidence and motivation to get 'back in the saddle' and return to the gym. I am making an attempt at a gym log to track my progress and measurements, and to commit to returning to the gym again.

Exercise for Tuesday, May 3, 2004:

Elliptical for 30 minutes

Bike for 15 minutes

Upper Body Toning: (Machines & Free Weights - M or FW)

(M) Military Press: 3 reps of 10 at 40 lbs, then 30 lbs, then 30 lbs

(M) Pec Press: 3 reps of 10 at 40 lbs

(M) Lateral Row: 3 reps of 10 at 40 lbs.

Abdominal work for 5-10 minutes.

Weight: 188.5
Neck: 13.6
Wrist: 6
Arm: 12.7
Bust: 34.5
Wst: 35
Hips: 39.5.
Thgh:23.7
Calf: 15.5

Measurements as of Wednesday, May 4, 2005:

Weight: 179-180
Neck: 13
Wrist: 6
Arm: 12
Bust: 33.8
Wst: 32.2
Hips: 38.5
Thgh:23
Calf: 15.5

Thursday, May 12, 2005

Jogged at lunch from work to Pilot's Monument, total time: 37 minutes!

Went up the stairs too, roughly 5 flights to get to the top of the rock.

Also climbed 5 flights of stairs to 5th floor for work.

Mood: Feeling accomplished, enjoyed the sunlight. Not feeling depressed today.

Friday, May 13, 2005:

Jogging outdoors for 30 minutes

Took the stairs at work three times

walking to and from work - 20 minutes

Mood: Feeling sore, will do muscle conditioning tomorrow

light bikeriding

Monday, May 16:

30-35 minutes jogging, taking 5 flights stairs.

Tuesday May 24:

20 pushups

Noon: Interval weights/aerobics class w/ abs

- Flys
- biceps
- triceps
- Lat raises
- front raises all with 8 lbs

Wednesday, May 25:

20 squats
20 wide squats
10 pushups

Evening: 40 min. Pilates class

Afterwards: Jogging to mom's - about 10 minutes

Thursday, May 26th:

Went home and did a series of squats, lunges, biceps, triceps, delts, lats, pushups, rows, every single thing I could think of to work out my body lol!

Friday, May 27:

Went to Pilates class at 5:20

Jogged to mom's (10 mnutes)

Saturday, May 28:

Natasha's Step class (w/abs, lower body floor exercises) at 10 am until 11:30

Dancing the night away for two hours

Sunday, May 29:

Might do some yoga

Bike riding across town to wal mart for some movies
