Default Help with the search function

I am trying to find in my journal the place where I posted my cholesterol values. I went to advanced find, posts not whole thread, search in journals, and user myself, and put in cholesterol, blood, HDL... no matter what I put in, it say the term is too common!

I guess what I should have done then is put this into my profile!

(I looked through this and other people's advice was that the search function is indeed awful and to use google and put in lowcarber.org as a search function. It still doesn't get my posting)

Yes, the search is pretty much disabled and we don't allow google into the journals. What I would do is use ctrl-f to search a page for a term, in this case, let's say "cholesterol". Do it page by page.

(ETA) I think I found the post you were looking for. It's on page 3, with a 20-post view. http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...32&page=3&pp=20
