Default Rotisserie Oven & BBQ

I've watched the infomercials for the Ronco/Showtime Rotisserie Oven & BBQ and wanted to know if any one bought this and how they liked it. Some questions:

Do you like it?
Is it easy to clean?
Is it easy to use?
Does it work like it he says it does in the ad?
How do you use it?
Is it worth the 159.00 to buy?

I use my George Foreman grill almost everyday but was looking at the Ronco gadget as a way to do large roasts and whole chickens.

Thanks in advance for the answers. Sorry for all the questions.

Christy

Hi there, Christy. I've moved your post to the Kitchen section of the forum (Techniques and discovereries) where it should get more related replies.

Talking Showtime Rotisserie

I have the Ronco Showtime Rotisserie, got it almost a year ago because my parents and friends had one and loved it. It IS really what they advertise it to be!

I have the black one (from QVC) that has a "Keep Warm" feature on it, which is very nice, if something is done cooking but I am not ready to eat or an hr. or so it keeps it warm but stops cooking, great feature.

The chicken of course is great. Ribs are wonderful (even though I like them even better in a pressure cooker, meat falls off the bone). I have cooked lamb, roast beef, about everything with it and all are juicy. Turkey is good too, but bought one that was too big once - have to go smaller than what they say unless it has specific shape -- but it was WOW!!!

Clean up is not bad. I put most of it right in dishwasher. I have started using tin foil in drip pan to save some of the clean up. But it's worth the mess (which I usually put off cleaning until the next morning).

I would recommend it to anyone that is a meat (or poultry eater).
Good luck!

Wink Preassure Cooker Ribs Recipe

Hi Chen...when I read about the ribs falling off the bone my mouth watered.
Would you be kind enough to share the recipe.

Thanks,
