Default cramp remedy

I am prone to leg cramps as well. Also, I get restless leg syndrome. I have found that increasing the minerals in general helps. All that water seems to flush them out. If you do just take the potasium and calcium, remember to balance the calcium out with magnesium. It is also a muscle relaxant. I just go with a "multi-mineral" formula I got at my vitamin store.

I find that if I get up and take two pills when the cramps or twitching starts it will subside in 15-20 minutes. Hope this helps.

You can get a blend of all three too.

Here is a thread with more info that should help you out:

Multi-Vitamins and Cal/Mag/K

LOL! I wake up by reading the forum! But I am up unusually early today.

It's always great to see Vancouverites on the forum. Did you know that the website originates from here? We haven't had any gatherings in a while, but we're due for one soon.

Talking Vancouverites

Hi Karen,
Just a quick note. I don't want to violate the thread subject here.
Yes it is good to hear from fellow vancouverites and I would love to attend any get togethers, not to mention your Fish House suppers. I am in the middle of a move throughout March and early April, and may be unavailable online for a while, so if there is anything happening could you let me know with plenty of lead time. I would hate to finally come online and find an invitation/announcement for a function that occured the past week.

Thanks
Colin

hi Colin,

I'm not Karen (she's ever-so-thankful ) .. but .. generally the invites and organizing for local get-togethers are posted in the Canada forum ... Just go to the main index page by clicking on the little home icon at the top right of the page, then scroll down to Local Support Groups .. you'll see it listed there. The odd impromptu coffee-break happens with only a few days' warning, but generally events are posted well in advance.
