Default How to get a whoosh... large or mini

After about three months of meticulous calorie, carb, fat, protein counting, exercise logging, mood tracking and supplements I think I've finally figured out how to get a whoosh, and why they happen. Firstly I started out exercising (running up to 4/5 miles every two days). Weight went up and up and up. Cut back on the exercise to yoga about three times a week. Weight dropped to about a 1lb or 2 below where I was when running started. Apparently a lot of runners in training for Marathons put on weight... so running is now off the menu until I get to target of 120. Secondly, I've been following an anti-candida diet with a few cheats dotted around. Those cheats have helped... particularly the ones where I don't calorie count OR stop myself from eating dairy/bread/rice. As long as I don't go over 1700 a day I don't go up in weight. Two days afterwards I always start loosing again. Thirdly, keeping away from processed foods. The occasional glass of wine has also helped - but is difficult to drink just one when my husband and I open a bottle!

WATER, cannot emphasise this one enough. Drink, drink drink. I can guarantee on the days where I don't drink at least 3 litres, the next day I will have puffy fingers from the water my body is holding on to to dilute the toxins my fat cells are releasing as they are metabolised.

Calorie counting - I started out eating about 1500, cut to 1400 and now on about 1250. To keep the same amount of loss going you have to keep cutting the calories (even if you do incorporate slightly higher calorie cheat days). It is a bit like the ZigZag diet just with less of the ZigZag!

Supplements - I take a good balance of Mag/Cal/Pot (LC anti-candida can be quite low in all those), Vitamin B's, Vit C, Cod liver oil, Coconut oil... have been experimenting with Oregano Oil but it is hard on the kidneys so having a week off... may replace this for a while with Olive Leaf Extract.

Here's hoping that I get in to the dress from Selfridges for my son's Christening in a month's time!

over here i use a small amount of what we call Squash ( diluting juice ) mixed 1 part juice to 9 parts water. it is very low in everything . just trace amounts per serving and very low cal .
would this just be as good as water becauce in the process i am drinking about 2 L of water a day and there may be only 50 ML of the juice in it
