Default Adios Carbs Tortillas

Just tried these this weekend, and they are incredible! For those of you that don't like La Tortilla Factory (they saved me) because of the soy taste, these Adios Carbs Tortillas are made with a blend of flours -- whole wheat, soy, oat, sesame and almond flours -- so they taste like regular tortillas! The texture is better to me also, not as chewy, and the carb count is the same as La Tortilla Factory -- 6 net carbs. I found them at Synergy Diet. I noticed (unfortunately after I ordered) that if you put the flavor of tortillas you want in the comment field when you are checking out of an order they'll send you a free pack (10) of Adios Carbs Tortillas right now with any order. This is only good until Wednesday, though, so if you have something else to order and want to try them free, now's a good time.

Hey, Livvy, I can't remember... did you post the Ingredients List and the Nutrition Facts for these "new" tortillas anywhere here in the Products Forum?

That would be way cool, and thanks in advance.

I'll have to give these a try. Never was a fan of the La Tortilla Factory tortillas. They had a weird aftertaste.

Hmmmmm. Sounds promising. The Hidden Carbs Inspector comes up with a 6.49g count, very close to what's on the label.

Good stuff, especially if they taste good.

I have to say, I tried really hard to like the La Tortilla brand and I just didn't, they tasted kind of sawdusty to me. But Adios Carb tortillas are great! They are so much more like real tortillas.

I have just ordered the original and the chocolate flavour from synergydiet. Has someone tried the chocolate flavour? How is it?

Thanks, I'll give these a shot.. the la tortilla's do the job, but if I could get something that doesn't taste like sawdust I'll be happy.

Hey, folks - haven't been able to find a web site for Adios Carbs Tortillas. The consensus seems to be that they're better than La Tortilla Factory. Is that really the case? Anyone know where I can get the Adios kind? Thanks, Diane

Default tortillas

I got my Adios Carbs Tortillas from Synergy Diet
(http://www.synergydiet.com/index.html)

Loved them!! Softer and more like a regular tortilla than the ones from Tortilla Factory (although those are fine, too -- I just like the Adios Carbs ones much better. Naturally, they're higher in carbs, too: 6 effective grams per tortilla. (I've already forgotten the amount in the Tortilla Factory ones -- maybe 3 ECC? Something like that.)

Highly recommended.
