Default Starting over again

I've been on the Atkins diet 2 years ago and reached my goal. I kept the weight off until summer of last year when my grandmother lived with us for 6 months. She cooked every day, traditional food that I have not eaten in more than 10 years. I have gotten back to my OLD weight and started again January 10th, so far I'm doing well lost 7 pounds , 27 to go .
Just wanted to say hi to everyone and I'm happy to find this forum

Your story sounds much like mine, except that I did it to myself. Worked hard on Atkins for a year and a half. Got down to a size 8 and then ate my way back to where I started and then some. Realized I was gaining weight but kept thinking... a week of induction will take care of it once I go back to the Atkins WOE. BIG MISTAKE!!!!

Finished two weeks of induction on Tuesday, but didn't see as much progress as I thought I would, perhaps because my TOM hit Wednesday morning. This is my first time on the forum, and with others working so hard, it truly gives me inspiration.

Keep up the good work!

'back again' is a popular theme today!
I reached goal almost a year ago...December was an indulgent month for me - and I regret every second of it! I got the treadmill put up last night and I'm fully commited to a new year of getting back down to my 'goal weight' and enjoying my thinness!!!

I never made it all the way to my goal, but i came close. From 470lbs i got down to 220lbs. Once u stop LC'ing abit, it goes out of control and the weight come back on so fast that u don't know what hit u. Your right about thinking that.. it's okay, i will start induction tomorrow and everything will be fine, ha!! I have learned from experience that u can never go back to eating regular foods.. NEVER....

That is for sure. I gained back the 45 I originally lost and more with it to add up to a 120 pound weight gain.
