Unhappy Bad week-end

Hi all,

I had a very bad week-end. I had family over and went on a carb fest. I actually went to McDonald last night!!!!

I am back on track this morning but not too proud of what I did to myself over the week-end. I don't dare step on the scale.

I know exactly how you feel. I did the same thing last weekend. But the most important thing is that you are back on track. Good luck and dont beat yourself up.....

Default last 2 weekends.

My problems tend to come when I am out with friends. Most of my friends do not know of my LC diet. Everyone usually talk about what they are ordering and everything, meanwhile, I look over the menu...plan on ordering a cheese omlette/steak salad, then I get heckled for being unimaginative(or the classic), "you don't win friends with salad." Well, the next thing I know is I'm eating a bacon cheesebuger(with bun) or a cajun skillet with potatoes. I am losing my will power when I see people eating the good stuff, but only when I'm out to eat. Need more will.

I seem to be back on track now. I had egg and bacon this morning and chicken and asparagus for lunch. I am visiting some friends tomorrow hopefully I can stick to it then.

I started excercising this morning, 20 minutes of cardio. The tape I ave is sooo boring, I might switch to Tae-Bo later this week.

Has anyone use the Tae-Bo tapes?

I have the tae-bo tapes...and it takes more energy to learn the moves than anything. So I bought a richard simmons tape just to get me going and get in to shape enough for the tae-bo...Man...I laughed so much watching him...he is so funny. But if he will get my motor running and get my butt exercising then so be it....

Hi Nelso
I used to have the same problems with my friends -- I solved the problem by telling them that I had developed a lot of food allergies (not a lie -- I am allergic to carbs - they make me fat/bloated!). Problem solved. Be strong -- if you were diabetic they wouldn't heckle you to have sugar - would they? If the answer to that is yes -- you need to find new friends!
