Unhappy I CHEATED !!!!!

YEP, I ate a small slice of cheese cake, I have been on this WOE plan for 25 days and have been doing great, BUT now I cheated and I feel so guilty almost like I have blew everything. Now I know that all I need to do is forgive myself and realize that there is room for an occasional error. BUT I am so afraid that this is the beginning of bad habits again, and not to mention those horrible withdrawls from sugar. I refuse to let this "bad judgment" ruin this. ok I am ok. thank you for letting me vent. Tomorrow is a new day THANK GOD! I am only human

Yes, tomorrow is a new day. You have the choice of whether or not to repeat the behavior again today (or a month from now or not until a year from now). Forgive yourself, re-dedicate yourself, and see what you can learn from the lapse--what made it happen, how to deal with a similar situation the next time, alternatives to that cheesecake yearning. LC as a way of life does not necessarily mean never again eating a slice of cheesecake--but it does mean trying to learn how to only have such things as planned indulgences, in their LC version, and rarely (some folks will abstain from sweets forever).

Congratulations on your success up til now. 25 days is a great start!.

Okay now do not beat yourself up over a piece of cheesecake. I to ended up having a piece of birthday cake at my best friends house. Yes it still felt like cheating, and it did not taste as good as it should have but I still enjoyed it. If you lived your life by not giving into yourself occasionally then there is no point to living. Why don't you make a pact with yourself that every 25 to 30 days you can have that sweet? I do and I am still losing weight. My birthday is in two weeks and I will be damned if I am not having cake. Actually a lady at work is making me one. So please be okay with yourself and allow yourself to enjoy something that you miss once a month. That is all that you are allowed though is once a month. I found that I really did not want any other sweets after the birthday cake. (I still crave twinkies everyday, even though I did not eat them before my diet)

Good luck!!!

Pearl
