Thumbs up Proud of myself!

I went out of town this weekend because I had to attend 2 bridal showers. I was gone for 2 days, surrounded by coffee milkshakes, punch, strawberry shortcake, sugar cookies, spinach dip in a breadbowl, chocolate covered strawberries, and all things of that sort. I didn't cheat at all! At the first shower I had a couple cherry tomatoes and a piece of celery. At the second one I had a couple strawberry slices with a tiny tiny tiny drop of cool whip.

In order to avoid cheating, I stayed away from the food tables and asked friends to grab me something. I also kept telling myself that there was nothing there that would taste as good as being thin is going to feel!

When I went out to lunch with my friends they all got low-fat sandwiches with low fat cottage cheese. I enjoyed a caesar salad with real dressing and chicken! Who has the better WOE?

Thumbs up Congratulations!

Isn't it the best feeling in the world when you've conquered a situation that you knew would be a challenge?!?! For me, nothing more excilerating then being able to stay strong and avoid temptation.

Congrats again - great strategy of avoinding the food tables. I always try to go to these types of events on a full stomach.

As for eating out, I find it's alot easier on this plan then any other I've tried.

I'll think of you next time I'm tempted.

Tiffany
